Leland Acker serves as the pastor of Life Point Baptist Church in Early, chaplain for Interim Hospice of Brownwood, and as councilmember for the Early (TX) City Council.

Leland’s journey has taken him from a life of political involvement and a successful career in talk radio, to raising a family and serving the Lord in a ministerial role. To some degree, you can view that evolution by reading through this blog.

Leland holds an Associate of Bible degree from Texas Baptist Institute-Seminary, a business degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and is a licensed insurance agent in the state of Texas.
