Leland Acker serves as the pastor of First Baptist Church in Hermleigh, TX, and has served as chaplain for Interim Hospice, and is a former councilmember for the Early (TX) City Council.

Leland’s journey has taken him from a life of political involvement and a successful career in talk radio, to raising a family and serving the Lord in a ministerial role. To some degree, you can view that evolution by reading through this blog.

Leland holds an Associate of Bible degree from Texas Baptist Institute-Seminary, a business degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and is a licensed insurance agent in the state of Texas.
